Preparing for SOY’B!!

Just afew more hours before we head on out to SOY’B!

Finally finished making the preparations. =)

We’ll be hanging out at our booth at B07, which is somehere near the toilets. ^^; But yepp.

We’re having a tribute booth artwork of ‘Last Night Good Night’ together with Redjuice’s concept. So do check it out!

Back by popular demand, MAGNET prints sold at the SOY’B will be the final batch and there won’t be anymore reprints! So do make your way before it gets sold out again!

SOY’B 2010 is drawing near~!

We’ll be doing stuff on KZ’s Last Night Good Night with concepts from Redjuice.

Also, we’ll be having the ‘Magnet’ prints for sale due to popular demand together with the other prints, bookmark packages and Hachune Miku stickers previously featured at the EOY ‘09

We’re looking forward to seeing you guys at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic as we usher in the new year! (not forgetting 1 more year to my current age, which sadly the event falls on my birthday. ^^; )

Though is not some thing that is big, but it sure boost up both of our moral in term of creativity and skills. I believe that all of you have seen our art piece: Hatsune Miku: Resonance.

This is the hard work that jiemi and i rushed out for the side of the stage within one day. Brushes are not done by us, but credited to the artist who done it.

Finally, our hardwork is being paid off. Because…

DAIYAKU at the EOY 09!!

First of all,

We would want to thank the people at the EOY 09 committee for giving us this opportunity to showcase our works, our family and friends who’ve given us support of these weeks as we rushed out our stuff for the booth, the creators of Hatsune Miku and K-ON! for creating the characters in which we’ve shamelessly did up fanarts on, and the most important of all, the people who’ve patronized our booth and bought our products!!

*ahem*
Anyways, our experience at the EOY was an interesting and fulfilling one. Though this is not the first time for both 0filia and i to have opened booths at the EOY, it was Daiyaku’s first debut at an event! *clap clap clap*

So yepp, really great stuff. =) Lots of cosplayers at the event as well, tons of waves of people coming in. Everyone was feeling rather high and hyper, great to see the good ol’ EOY spirit ne~ haha

Our booth was doing rather fine, 0filia’s Magnet piece sold out like hotcakes, (made me jealous somehow…) and our stickers did really great. We were also pleased with the visitors response on our ‘Genesis of the Voice’ Miniature Hatsune Miku Stage Concert. You can almost see their face go (>w<!!!) when they saw those Hachune Miku chibi stickers and the concert stage playing PVs from Project Diva and some other fan works like Stargazer and Last Night Good Night. But our bookmarks weren’t doing so well, maybe it was too expensive for you guys, but we’ll be revising it soon. =)

We want to thank you guys again for coming to our booth at the EOY 09. BUT~! We’ll be back on the 30th January next year at the SOY 10 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic! So do check us out there!!

Daiyaku @ The EOY!!!

Heya!

Do check us out at the EOY on the 26th as we present; “The Genesis of the Voice” Miniature Staged Concert, and the ‘Equanimity of the Seasons’ Bookmark Packages for the passionate fans of the Digital Diva; Hatsune Miku!!
A4 Prints will also be sold on that day, but there’s only a limited number of them to be sold. So make your way to the National Library on the 26th, 10am – 6pm as you’ll experience the euphoria of…the Vocaloid.

P.S: Even if you didn’t bring enough cash on that day, our products are open for ordering and collection at the SOY,B (drats… the secret is out…) Yesh! we’ll be at the SOY as well.

So if you’re planning to purchase any of our products, do drop us an email at daiyakumail(at)gmail.com, you will need to pay a deposit of $2 which we will provide you with a bank account number for a funds transfer. Once the deposit is confirmed, we will proceed with the printing and will be ready for collection at the SOY itself. =)

1st Audition @ Black Box, NLB

Had a wonderful time yesterday @ Black Box, level 5, NLB yesterday! My job scope is treasurer, so didn’t have much time to watch the audition *emo*

Really had a great time and performance! Very excited seeing all the performers so hard working and looking forward to EOY 2009!

Pre-sales tickets design are AWESOME too! =)

Random rants and updates

Yoz! I realised that we’ve neglected this blog =x i just serve this as my ranting place to share about art and updates about EOY/lifes then. LOL! This blog will be my slave for flooding all my information all i have! And with Singlish. Orz.

Some small updates on Fish:

- CLEARED EVERYTHING ON HAND RIGHT NOW!! NO OWING OF ARTWORK!! *cheers!!* finally………….. (been procrastinating more than 1 mth)

- Will upload on the photos at NYP’s concert. Sad to say that i didn’t manage to attend that time. Was having my pathetic FYP meeting. ;A; still waiting for them to pass it to me. ORZ.

- HUGE ulcer at the side of her mouth, difficult in talking right now T^T hope to recover by Fri. ><, *prays real hard*

- Successfully got a booth at EOY (helped others to get a booth as well), will be seeing you guys in real life soon! (and you guys will be, “chey!! i saw you before!! Or, i got the wrong person…?” LOL! Both of us have an ordinary face)

- Finished on EOY event booklet front page(first phase), and finish all the products to sell at EOY =) may add in more artwork in later days~

- Will be slaving Jiemi once he’s back from chasing Kangaroos XD

- Still chasing kangaroos counting from 8 days. XD

EOY Showcase of Artworks

EOY is truly a celebration for the fans, where talent is showcased and recognized. The EOY team has an avenue for talented artists to showcase their artwork to the community and contribute to the event. We hope that through EOY, talents will be recognized and appreciated for their works.

EOY is now looking for artwork submissions to be showcased in our event banners, booklets (est. 3000 pieces) and website.

The top entries will have their artwork printed inside and on our event booklets, tickets and our website. Proper credits will be given to the respective artist.

Important Note
Although EOY does not own the art, however, by submitting them to us, it allows EOY to use them. We make every possible effort to ensure that proper credit is given, so please ensure that it belongs to you. We do not want to credit the wrong artist.

First Job Completed!

We’ve just finished a project request as asked by the Nanyang Polytechnic Piano Ensemble for their ‘Musique la Fusione 2′ concert later this year.

Their club enlisted our art direction to create designs for their media and advertisments for their upcoming concert. Which we have came up with…

Yepp, we’ve came up with poster designs for their events together with the tickets, banner and their event brochures. Considering that this is our first external project, we’re pretty satisfied with the results. =) We’ll be adding this to our gallery soon as part of our art group’s portfolio.

Till then, do give this concert some love. ^^
